For
the first time in the gallery's 18 years of existence, we have done a
thorough 'stock-taking' and came across some real gems. Over the years
the gallery has acquired some interesting works. Some of the artists'
names will be little or unknown but the images speak for them selves.
We discovered a great Karen Appel lithograph
as well as some Patrick Hayman oils; or consider
the Bar Room Blues by Kenneth Gribble which goes well with Vivian
Pitchforth's Open Cast Mining.
We
shall also display works by artists associated with the Gallery, including
the magnificent Brodzky linocuts, lithographs
by Josef Kramer, works on paper by Bernard
Meninsky and his contemporaries such as Anthony
Gross, and Edmund Kapp. French artists
from the same period will be represented with pencil drawings and watercolours
by Jean Marchand and Maximilien
Luce respectively.
Others
might be interested in Anatoly Kaplan's four
remaining prints from the famous Had Gadya series.
In
terms of the contemporary art scene, the Boundary Gallery has also acquired
a number of Ana Maria Pacheco original prints
as well as Patrick Hughes' two amazing multiples
to mention just a few.
Do
come, look and choose. Prices start at £150.
