Centenary Exhibition		    

The Boundary Gallery is privileged to open an exhibition to mark the centenary of Herman's birth.

The exhibition will focus on renderings of Welsh miners for which Herman is best remembered. These works, developed during the artist's 11 years in the mining town of Ystradgynlais, introduced his well-known monumental figures imbued with deep humanity. Herman's dedication to portraying people at work stayed with him throughout his career
The gallery is proud to present many hitherto unseen works.
